Saturday Zoo Ride

7 a.m. City Ride. The original MtLCCC ride since 1988. Every Saturday we leave the Mt. Lebanon Coffee Tree at 7 a.m. sharp to ride into Pittsburgh for the “Zoo ride” with a stop in the Strip District for coffee. This is a social (but animated) ride that will regroup at the top of hills. Riders are expected to have fitness to average 15 mph. A side group often peels off after the stadium for a more spirited extension to Observatory Hill.

Short route, round trip from The Coffee Tree: Around 30 miles, 2000 feet.

Long route that breaks off at the West End Bridge and adds an extension to Observatory Hill: Around 42 miles, 2600 feet.
